Here is a brief overview of the typical upgrade process:
- Create a test environment
- Install your current version of SalesLogix and database server in test environment
- Review and document all of your customizations
- Create a bundle of all of your customizations
- Run the upgrade process in the test environment
- Test the upgraded system, modify scripts and forms, test some more...
- Once you are comfortable with the upgraded test system, apply the same steps, customizations,
and bundles to the production environment
